Introducing Bethlehem Chiropractor Dr. Barry Fedon

I remember years ago meeting a young new chiropractor who was just opening his practice. Not knowing much about chiropractic at the time, I didn't think much of it. Little did I realize that would be me several years later.

I began to learn about chiropractic when my girfriend ( now my wife ) injured her neck in a water skiing accident. Not getting any relief after 3 weeks of drug therapy, one of her co-workers referred her to his chiropractor. Soon she began to recover and it opened my eyes to chiropractic. It was then I decided to become a chiropractic patient and student.

Needless to say I was excited and anxious about starting my education and new career as a doctor of chiropractic. I quit my job, borrowed lots of money, started a new career and a family (my wife was pregnant with our first child shortly after I started chiropractic college). One might have called it stressfull, but I was determined to be the best chiropractor I could be. After graduation from Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic in 1990 I couldn't wait to start my new career.

Daily we are rewarded in our practice with the experience of helping others through natural chiropractic care. We have an educational based practice, providing as much information about chiropractic as possible. We feel this is necessary since many people are not familiar with chiropractic theories and principles. Improving their health without drugs or surgery is something many people are not accustomed to. We do find the more one knows about chiropractic the better they are able to use it and the easier it is to explain it to others.

I am married to Anna and have two children, Jack and Barry. I am an advid golfer but could always use a few extra tips to improve my game.

Getting regular chiropractic checkups and adjustments have become part of our family's health care routine along with a sensible diet and regular exercise. We attempt to promote this type of lifestyle to our patients as well.

Dr. Barry Asks some important questions of interest to Bethlehem residents - Chiropractor Bethlehem Dr. Barry Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. Bethlehem parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
